Parent of students are provided services in the following: Tutoring, Literacy, Mentoring,Health and Wellness, Parenting classes,Community engagement, Hands-on, creative learning in areas such as STEM, the arts, and sports, Financial Literacy Jazz Band and Drumming.
Parents are contacted
through home visits or phone contact to assess their needs and the needs of
their child by the Family Involvement Coordinator - Parent Workshops are
established based on parent and student needs -Parents will be provided the
opportunity to participate in four workshops scheduled throughout the school
year. These workshops are partnered with various community stakeholders to
ensure appropriate wrap around services are available. -Twice per year students
will have the opportunity to perform for their parents presenting something
they have learned during their enrichment clubs -Job Fairs are scheduled for
parents to attend at the end of the parenting workshops .
